Heritage Manor I disqualifying country's pioneers

Dear Editor,

I would like to inform your readers of the new rules and regulations regarding our seniors complex Heritage Manor I.

This complex was originally erected as a residence for our seniors, who are mainly pioneers of this country, as a safe and comfortable place to reside as they aged and their became such that they could no longer manage the upkeep of their homes. Heritage Manor I was the answer to their concerns.

But this is no longer the case, the rules and regulations have been changed. When you sell your home, your assets become such that you are automatically disqualified from being accepted as tenants of Heritage Manor I.

We are consequently back to where we were before Heritage Manor I was built. Our senior pioneers are being discriminated against, despite the fact that they have toiled for many years, endured many hardships to make this country what it is today, have managed to save enough to be self-sufficient in their declining years, now they find they are disqualified from becoming tenants of our seniors complex, Heritage Manor I. There are presently five vacant suites in Heritage Manor I. One has been vacant for over six months.

This is situation is unacceptable. Voice your concerns regarding this matter.
