The lone victim in a single vehicle accident on Cecil Lake Road has succumbed to his injuries.
The incident occurred near the Beatton River Bridge at 8 a.m. this morning. Police arrived on the scene to find a commercial truck in the ditch.
The lone occupant of the vehicle, a 69 year old male, was extracted for the vehicle and transported to Fort St. John Hospital, where he later passed away.
Cecil Lake Road was closed in both directions for several hours. It has since reopened.
