Police are on the lookout for some slippery individuals they believe may have squeezed through window bars to commit a robbery in Chetwynd over the weekend.
Last Monday, a break and enter was reported at the Rotary Club Park Office on Airport Road in Chetwynd. The investigation determined that over the weekend, suspects entered through an unlocked kitchen window of the building, and were able to squeeze through its security bars to get inside.
Based on the spacing between the bars, police believe the suspects were "small in stature."
Once the thieves were in, they stole several food items and damaged the inside of the building.
Chetwynd RCMP is asking for the public's help in identifying the persons that may be responsible. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chetwynd detachment at 250-788-9221 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
