One of the world's greatest heavy metal bands is coming to Dawson Creek in 2019.
Judas Priest will play the Encana Events Centre June 13 as part of the band's Firepower tour, bringing with them classic metal band Uriah Heep as support.
"Firepower 2019 charges forth with new first time performances born out of Firepower, as well as fresh classic cuts across the decades from the Priest world metalsphere," Priest says in an announcement.
"Our visual stage set and light show will be scorching a unique, hot, fresh vibe — mixing in headline festivals, as well as the in-your-face venue close ups. We can’t wait to reunite and reignite our maniacs... THE PRIEST IS BACK!”
Judas Priest released Firepower, their 18th studio album, in March, debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Tickets go on sale Friday, December 7 at 10 a.m., available at the Encana Events Centre box office, Systems Sound Source in Fort St. John, or online at www.tigerboxofficeplus.ca.
