Pioneer Village Jamboree & Grand Opening, Walter Wright Pioneer Village, ALL WEEKEND
Come out and join the folks of the Mile 0 Park Society for the opening weekend of the Walter Wright Pioneer Village in Dawson Creek.
Live bands will be playing all weekend, there will be a petting zoo and lots of activities.
Don’t miss Saturday’s main event: the Quick Draw contest on Main Street.
Celebrity guests like Fort St. John Mayor Lori Ackerman, Peace FM’s Mad Man Matt Nicholson, Bill Plowright, Mayor of Pouce Coupe and others.

Canadian singer/songwriter Chris Culgin is in Dawson Creek this weekend at Chances gaming hall for two shows Friday and Saturday.

Art Walk, City-wide, Until July 18
ArtWalk continues until July 18.
Local artists will be showcasing their works at a variety of businesses throughout Fort St. John. This is a tremendous opportunity to see the incredible talent of our North Peace region artists, as well as spend time at our local merchants.

Peace Gallery North Art Exhibit, Peace Gallery North, ends June 27 @ 5 p.m.
This joint show, "When Town Meets Country" displays the work of two local artists - Tara Brule of Fort St John and Alan White of Baldonnel.
Using colour, texture and various media, Tara is concentrating on the "Country" aspect in the show's title with paintings of farm life from cows to cockerels, while Alan works on the "Town" side with various cityscapes including from New York to Vancouver. Pieces range from small to oversize.
