Three candidates are looking to fill the vacant mayor's chair in the Village of Pouce Coupe.
The village will hold a byelection for the seat Saturday, April 9. Ron Kelly, Tyler Randall and Lorraine Michetti have all put their names into the contest.
The byelection is being held to replace former mayor William Plowright, who resigned in January for personal reasons. Coun. Andre Lavoie has been serving as acting mayor.
Voting will take place the village office between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Advanced voting will take place March 30.
