Prince George RCMP is asking the public’s help in locating a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
The warrant was issued for Darcy Paul Beaulieu, 30, after he missed a curfew at a halfway house in the city.
Beaulieu is from the Dawson Creek area and has an extensive criminal record including a conviction for manslaughter, RCMP said.
Beaulieu has family in Prince George, Dawson Creek, Tumbler Ridge, and in High Prairie and Grande Prairie Alberta.
He's described as First Nations, 175 cm (5’9”) tall, weighing 86 kg (190 lbs), with brown hair, although he may be bald, and brown eyes. Beaulieu has tattoos on his right arm.
Beaulieu is considered violent and should not be approached.
