Fort St. John issued six building permits in November, worth an estimated $1.14 million in construction.
Two of the permits were issued for single-family home construction on 105A Street and 112 Avenue, valued at a combined $998,880.
Three other permits home renovations were issued for work valued at $50,000.
One commercial permit was issued for construction worth $90,000 at a strip mall at 9317 96 Street across from the Pomeroy Sport Centre, in the former home of Hollywood Video.
To the end of November, the city had issued 101 permits worth $52.4 million in new construction; that’s compared to 107 permits worth $42.4 million at the same time last year.
The city has brought in $637,900 in revenues from the sale of building and other construction permits and development charges this year.
