Saturday saw the offical ribbon cut on the new Dawson Creek Bannister Ford location on the Alaska Highway.
Owners of Browns’ Chevrolet Buick, GMC, the Bannister Group, made moves to acquire Capital Motors in DC, with the switch official on paper May 1.
“It went pretty well. We could always have more people but it was a good day,” said general sales manager Ralph Beck. This is the first Ford dealership for the Bannister Group, who has two Honda and seven GM dealers on their roster.
“I think this is an exciting time for the community,” said Wayne McIntyre, who joined Bannister earlier this year.
“You’ll continue to see the same smiling faces at the dealership. You can also expect the same great service. You’ll also notice though some other changes in the way we do business that I believe our customers are really going to like,” said McIntyre. “This is the tenth store in the Bannister group.”
