The open mic kicks off at 1pm - the kids waterslide is already wet and busy - the Dawson Creek Music Festival is on.
Organizer Jeremy Linklater says this the ninth year since the first of the initial festival - and is looking forward to the ten year anniversary coming up next year.
Music will play for the next two days - we all kinds of vendors on hand.
