This morning an evacuation alert was issued for the community of Kelly Lake due to the Bearhole Lake wildfire.
The alert includes the areas surround the lake, between Kelly Lake and 4 km west of the Alberta border, 5 km north of Kelly Lake until 5km south of Kelly Lake
On Saturday at noon BC wildfire official predicted the Bearhole Lake fire could reach Hwy. 52 near Tumbler Ridge on Sunday morning, also estimating the fire had grown to 2500 hectares.
