The RCMP’s Musical Ride trots into Dawson Creek June 9. The troop of up to 32 riders, who are all police officers, and their horses perform intricate formations and drills set to music, lasting about 30 minutes. These movements demand the utmost control, timing, and coordination. The event goes at 12:45pm in the DC Exhibition Rodeo Infield.
2023 marks the RCMP's 150th anniversary tour with stops tentatively scheduled for British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
