Rehab summer.

Left just out of the medal rounds last October at the World Softball championships, Peace region’s Roxy Honing is prepping for another crack at the world this fall, and playing for Canada in 2024/25 at the national level.

“The idea this year is to rehab in the summer for the fall and going back to worlds again in Utah,” she says.

Honing traditionally plays for the United States in regular season play, then puts on the maple leaf to play for Canada at the National level. She plays for the the Lady Gray Jays when in Canada. West Coast United is Honing’s US team, based out of California, Redding.

Honing is adding something else to the national level, looking to  represent Canada at next year’s worlds in both softball, and pickleball.
