The City of Fort St. John has received an offer of piece of land it has held for 30 years.
On Friday, the city announced it intends to sell 9503-106th Street to Redins Holdings Ltd. for $125,000.
The city's director of legislative services, Janet Prestley, said the city has owned the land since 1985, and that it may have been obtained it in a tax sale.
"I can't actually see (the city) purchasing that lot, because it's a pretty small lot," she said.
The property was advertised for sale in 2007 and 2010, but there were no takers.
Darrin Snider of Redins Holdings said he wants to buy the lot as he owns the surrounding land, and the purchase would complete his ownership of the block.
