Central Mountain Air has resumed commercial flights in Fort St. John.
Service relaunched July 7, and the airline said Thursday it would resume flights in Fort Nelson Sept. 14.
Flights running between Fort St. John, Kamloops, Kelowna, Prince George, and Terrace on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays will be changed to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays effective Aug. 9, the airline said.
Customer safety remains the primary concern, it said.
"We have worked closely with each of the communities we serve to ensure their health indicators and demand support scheduled service," said Chief Executive Officer Bob Cummings.
"We know how much these communities rely on our connectivity and are proud to partner with them on this schedule."
The airline suspended commercial flights April 11. Cargo to Fort St. John, Prince George, Kamloops, and Terrace continued, as did charter flights.
