Walmart Canada says an employee at its Fort St. John store has tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee last worked Nov. 25, and other workers who were “in close prolonged contact" were told to self-isolate, said spokesperson Felicia Fefer.

The store is in contact with public health authorities, and cleaning has been increased, Fefer said.

“We’re keeping the associate in our thoughts and wish them a speedy recovery,” Fefer said in an email. "Rest assured, we will continue to take measures necessary to ensure the well-being of our customers and associates.”
