Fatal motorcycle crash investigated

One man is dead after a collision between a motorcycle and a SUV in Fort St. John on Saturday night.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on 96A Street near Walmart just before 9 p.m.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, RCMP said. His name is not being released.

Police say the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is co-operating with the investigation.

RCMP are continuing to investigate, and are looking for witnesses and video. Alcohol wasn't a factor, they said.
