The Fort St John RCMP are trying to locate 45-year-old Barbara Marie Lafond who is currently wanted for Flight from Police and Driving While Prohibited which occurred on December 19, 2020.
Barbara Lafond is described as:
- Indigenous woman,
- 5'6 (168 cm) tall,
- 180 lbs (82 kg),
- Brown hair, long,
- Brown eyes.

Police are looking for assistance in identifying a thief.
On May 5, 2022, at approximately 12:05 pm, the Fort St John RCMP received a report of a theft from the Canadian Tire, located at 9716 Old Fort Rd, Fort St John.
On more than one occasion the suspect allegedly stole numerous items and the Fort St John RCMP request the assistance of the public in identifying the man in order to further the investigation.
The suspect male is described as:
- approximately 6 feet tall (183 cm),
- approximately 60 years old,
- slender build,
- has grey hair,
- wears glasses, and
- a handlebar mustache and scruffy beard.
The man was observed leaving in a black 2010 Ford Escape bearing BC licence plate AN562F.
The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who has information in this matter to contact police by calling the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
