Fort St. John RCMP search for wanted man

Fort St. John RCMP have issued five arrest warrants for Gavin Davis, and are searching for him after he fled from police on August 14.

Davis is known to police, and when the RCMP attempted to conduct a traffic stop, Davis refused to stop, and instead drove away in a dark-coloured pickup truck.

The arrest warrants cover a range of vehicular crimes, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving without a valid driver’s licence.

A press release from Sgt. Dave Tyreman describes Davis as "an Indigenous man, 5’8’’ tall, weighing 230 pounds, black hair, brown eyes." He is considered armed and dangerous.

The RCMP are asking that you don't approach Davis if seen, but that you call 911 instead.
