Shake up your drive-thru breakfast routine on Thursday morning and head to the corner of 100 Street and 96 Avenue instead to pick up a breakfast that will go directly to supporting local schools.
Rotarians in Fort St. John are getting ready for their Drive-Thru Breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m., and will be serving up breakfast sandwiches hot off the grill, with a side of fruit and a beverage for a minimum donation of $7.
Proceeds raised will go to support local school breakfast programs.
Rotarians expect to be busy — so far, 540 breakfast orders have been put in for delivery.
Residents and businesses gobbled up roughly 700 of 1,000 breakfast bags in May 2018, raising an estimated $12,000 in the process. Those funds went to help build the new Rotary Spray Park.
Thursday's Drive Through Breakfast will take place at 100 Street and 96 Avenue from 7 to 10 a.m.
