Justice Society hosts first-ever foot race Feb. 16

The North Peace Justice Society will be host a “Frozen John” foot race as part of the city's upcoming High on Ice Festival.

The race starts at noon on Feb. 16 in Centennial Park, with 2.5km and 5km routes.

“We thought it would be really fun to bring a family activity that celebrates athleticism,” said executive director Kate Stringer, noting the event is named after the city’s mascot.

More than fifteen people have registered for the race so far, with registrations benefitting justice society programming.
