Hi, Anika Carroll here, reporting from the Lakeshore 4-H Club, our club would like to thank everyone who supported our annual Mother’s Day Dirt Sale this year, we enjoyed seeing you all, and hope your gardens do well! It’s always a successful fundraiser, and we look forward to doing it again next year!
We have all been working hard getting our animals ready for the show and auction this year and can’t wait to show off our beef and hog projects. Most of us have clipped all of our steers in these past 3 weeks and washing them lots! Personally, that is one of my favourite parts of the year with my steer and heifer, getting them show ready is a lot of fun for me! Everyone’s animals are growing nicely and looking very healthy and happy.
We invite you to join us at the Dawson Creek Exhibition Grounds on July 15th and 16th for our Achievement Days. The auction will follow the Friends of 4-H Supper at 4pm, with the live auction starting at 5pm. There will also be a online catalogue for you to view all animals being auctioned as well as online bidding will be available for those that can not attend in person. Hope to see you there!
