The Fort St. John North Peace Museum says it will reopen on Monday, June 15.
"Over the next few weeks, we are working on designing and implementing a plan to make staff, volunteers, and visitors feel safe," manager and curator Heather Sjoblom said. "We are also working to clean and open our historic buildings for the summer so that the museum, gift shop, and buildings can all open at once."
Museum, archives, and gift shop hours will be Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. so museum staff and volunteers have adequate time to clean and prepare for the next business day, Sjoblom said.
The museum will not be offering guided tours, programs, or events in June.
"We look forward to seeing you and being able to share our community's history through physical exhibits once again," Sjoblom said.
