One dead after motorhome fire

A fire at Corner RV and Campsite in Fort St. John claimed the life of a resident Saturday morning.

Just after 4 a.m., the City of Fort St. John Fire Department was called to the 8400 block of Alaska Road North to put out a motorhome fire, with a nearby fifth wheel RV in flames as well.

The department was able to put out both fires, but one person in the motorhome did die. 

The department and the RCMP are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
