Parade for health care workers tonight

If you would like to show your support for medical workers in Fort St. John, a drive-by parade will make its way past the hospital at 7 p.m. tonight.

Paraders will meet on 86 Street at 6:30 p.m., with plans to drive by the hospital on 112 Avenue at 7 p.m.

The city says spontaneous vehicle parades can take place without advanced planning and permitting.

It says those who take part must obey all traffic rules and signals, and yield to pedestrians.

"Spontaneous parades are subject to the same traffic laws and fines as any driver, so drive respectfully!" the city says.
