The owners as well as RCMP canvassed neighbours, but there were no witnesses. Police believe the incident was isolated.

RCMP are also investigating after a Nissan Murano was vandalized earlier this month near the 8500 block of 77 Street.

The vehicle sustained serious damage and a homophobic slur was painted on the vehicle. Police believe it may have been a hate-motivated crime.

If the public has any information about these incidents, call the detachment at 250-787-8100, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
