Police searching for woman that attempted to rob liquor store

Police are asking the public's help in identifying a woman who allegedly attempted to rob the Econo Liquor Store with a knife last Thursday. Police say that at about 5 p.m., a woman entered the Liquor Store and demanded money from the employee.

Police are asking the public's help in identifying a woman who allegedly attempted to rob the Econo Liquor Store with a knife last Thursday.

Police say that at about 5 p.m., a woman entered the Liquor Store and demanded money from the employee. The female had a knife, but was unsuccessful in getting any money and left the premises.

No one was hurt. Police immediately searched the area but came up empty handed.

RCMP describe the woman as Caucasian, 5'3", about 125 pounds, 28-35 years old with blue eyes. She was wearing a black hooodie and is described as having 'cakey' makeup.
