Fort St. John RCMP are on the lookout for a suspect who shot an electronic road sign on the Alaska Highway.

"Fort St. John RCMP are concerned not only over the unsafe discharge of a firearm near a highway, but also that motorists could not be updated with road conditions on a sometimes treacherous highway," an RCMP spokesperson wrote in a release.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers or the Fort S. John RCMP detachment.
