Royal BC Museum officials are in Fort St. John this week to meet with the public and discuss the museum's future.

Residents are invited to join CEO Alicia Dubois and Vice President Janet Hanuse on Wednesday, April 5, to hear an overview of the current status of the museum followed by break-out sessions and a question and answer period.

"We are open to engage, to listen, to learn," the museum says. "Please join us as we embark on an important community engagement journey across the province that will help shape the modernization of the museum."

The event takes places from 6 to 8 p.m. at the North Peace Cultural Centre.
