In order to have vaccine bookings go smoothly, it is important to know when you can phone for your appointment.
The schedule is as follows:
-Over 90 (born in 1931 or earlier) book appointment on or after March 8, also Indigenous and born in 1956 or earlier can book at this time.
-Over 80 (born in 1941 or earlier) book on or after March 10. Your eligibility to call does not expire and you may call after these dates. The times for booking younger seniors will be announced – keep an eye out for announcements.
To book your appointment phone the call centre: 1-844-255-7555 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (Pacific time), seven days a week.
You will need to have your personal health number, date of birth, postal code, and contact information handy when you make the call for an appointment.

Book your campground
You might want to check out B.C.’s campgrounds - an excellent and inexpensive way to enjoy the outdoors.
Booking opened on March 8 for the use of provincial campgrounds - for B.C. residents only. Go to bcparks.ca/operating dates to register. R
Reservations opened on March 8 for arrival dates up to May 8, and can be booked up to two months in advance from there on.
For people from out of province, reservations start July 8 for the remainder of the season.
B.C. Recovery Benefit
People receiving the B.C. Seniors Supplement or income disability or hardship assistance should have automatically received the B.C. Recovery benefit. If you qualify and have not yet received the benefit phone 1-833-882-0020.
Income tax help
The Canada Revenue Agency Tax filing service will be running at the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society. This is help with online filing. You must quality by earning under a certain amount. Phone 250-787-1121 to make an appointment or to find out the details.
