Salvation Army getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner

The Salvation Army will open its doors to host a community Thanksgiving dinner on Friday.

The agency fills more than 100 hungry stomachs with a traditional Thanskgiving meal each year.

This year's dinner will take place Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Northern Centre of Hope.

Volunteers are always needed to help prepare, serve, and cover the costs of providing for the meal. 

Those interested in helping, can contact the Salvation Army at 250-261-1933.
