Northern Health says a COVID-19 outbreak declared in November at the North Peace Seniors Housing Society apartments in Fort St. John is officially over. There were a total of 15 lab-confirmed cases associated with the outbreak.

Northern Health says a COVID-19 outbreak declared in November at the North Peace Seniors Housing Society apartments in Fort St. John is officially over.

There were a total of 15 lab-confirmed cases associated with the outbreak. Six people were hospitalized, and one resident associated with the outbreak passed away in November.

"NH Medical Health Officers have declared the outbreak exposure risk over, for all of the complex’s Apartment buildings," Northern Health said Dec. 25. "Northern Health and the North Peace Seniors Housing Society wish to thank staff, residents and their families, for their patience, cooperation and support in recent weeks."
