Some flights being cancelled in Fort St. John

Air Canada has also cancelled today Flight 8187 from Vancouver and Flight 8188 return to that city.

WestJet has also cancelled two flights Sunday, March 22, as well as one flight on the 25th, and one on the 26th.

Airport officials say more are anticipated.

Air Canada earlier this week said it would be suspending flights to Prince Rupert, Smithers, and Haida Gwaii, and redirecting passengers to Terrace instead as part of a scale back in its domestic network across Canada.

This is a developing story.
