RCMP said that a slender male approximately 5’11 in height wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with his face covered, stole money, cigarettes and alcohol from the store just before 10 a.m.
He did not produce a weapon and no one was injured in the event, police said.
Authorities contained an area surrounding the store and brought in a police dog to track the suspect, but he has so far evaded capture, said the RCMP, who are continuing the investigation.
