The North Peace Cultural Centre received $550 in donations this week from the Cobs Bread Hot Cross Bun fundraiser.
On March 27, a portion of the sales for every six pack of hot cross buns, along with donations online, went toward the fundraiser, with bakery owner Hardik Patel presenting North Peace Cultural Centre Executive Director Baptiste Marcere with the money on April 23.
The money will go toward the Cultural Centre's workshops and arts programs.
"We are really thankful," Marcere said. "Any donations help and we will keep working toward promoting the arts."
Patel spent five years with the NPCC before starting his bakery, and wanted to give back and help promote arts and culture.
