I always thought--well... I think Molly looks a lot like Marisa Tomei. She has the same hair colour, the same coloured eyes; her hands--very small--are of similar size, and their figure is, like, akin to each other. A few nights ago, actually, after I finished composing a few images, we were watching "The Wrestler," and that's when I first noticed it. Marisa was--well, in the film, I mean--she was having a drink with Mickey Rourke, who's really good in it. Anyway, they were having a drink, and they got to talkin', and then they started dancing--and, I dunno, it just reminded me of Molly; how she acts, and stuff.
She's not really like Tomei, though, and she's changed, especially since she met John. She's more open, more--well, she's always... she's always been goodhearted.
John and me didn't really get along; at least at first. I've always thought he looked like a mash between a donkey and a troll, and this did not appeal to me; or--I thought--Molly. She was too good for him;--hell, she still is!--but he's a good guy, and he's good for the little ma.
You guys know what happened? Yeah, that's right--yeah, yeah. (Laughing.) Yeah, that was funny when I got drunk and went into the bathroom and screamed at him and--well, yeah--I attacked him. At that point, after all the messing we had done, back and forth, I would have killed him if I had the chance. (Laughing.)
But, when and after it happened, it wasn't as funny--and Molly looked out of it and very unhappy. She didn't wanna talk to me. No, she didn't scream or swear or anything; she would, just, shut down. So, out of desperation, I went and saw John, and he immediately told me off, and called me a piece of ----, and to go ---- off. That was hard to hear, and I had to sit down and, and, and I just lost it. There was something seriously wrong with me. I did want Molly to be happy, but not with him. Even after all I did, though, John came and talked to me after cooling down. That was cool of him.
What? Yeah, when's the, the--um...--the movie gonna show. Next year?--; that's great. But it was nice working with you guys. You know, I remember watching "Baghead" and "The Puffy Chair," and thinking, "These guys are so talented," and you are.
4 out of 5 stars.
