The Fort St. John Chamber of Commerce has put out a call for nominations for this year's Business Excellence Awards.

Celebrated during Small Business Week, the ceremony on Oct. 18 will recognize businesses for the achievements in the non-profit, Indigenous, industrial, retail, and restaurant sectors.

The awards will also recognize deserving young entrepreneurs and women of distinction in their respective fields.

Other events are planned for Small Business Week, including a breakfast on Oct. 17, workshop sessions, and a tradeshow at the Pomeroy Hotel.

“The week is geared to help businesses promote, network, and pickup key ideas and strategies to help sustain and grow their businesses!” Fort St. John Chamber CEO Cheryl Montgomery said in a release.

“After the past two years we are excited to spend 4 days celebrating all businesses in the community and provide an opportunity to get out and be seen!”

To nominate a business, grab a form from the Fort St. John Chamber website, or drop by the offices of MNP, which is sponsoring this year's awards.
