Body found at motocross track ID'd as FSJ teen

RCMP have confirmed the identity of a teen found dead at the Fort St. John Motocross Track on the weekend. Jonathan Bruce, 16, was found dead at the track Sunday afternoon, Fort St. John RCMP confirmed on Tuesday.

Local officers, along with the North District Major Crime Unit, continue to investigate, and say an autopsy will be conducted to determine his cause of death.

"There are many officers working extremely hard to determine what happened to this youth," Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said in a news release.

"We are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious during the late evening of Nov. 23 or early morning of Nov. 24 at or near the motocross area to please give the RCMP a call."
