Man assaults Coquitlam senior after unleashed dog attack: RCMP

An elderly man suffered serious injuries after an argument with the suspect about their unleashed dog, who attacked his pet near Montgomery Middle School.

Police are looking for two suspects after one of them assaulted an elderly Coquitlam man, resulting from a confrontation about their unleashed dog that attacked his pet.

Mounties are asking for the public's help in identifying a man, woman and their dog involved in the May 3 incident.

In retaliation, the male suspect assaulted the elderly man. The senior was left with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
