Around Town: Charlie Lake disc golf course ready to play

All 18 tonal targets have been installed at the new Charlie Lake Disc Golf Course, and it is now open for play.

The weather may be getting colder, but it's not too late to get a round of disc golf in, and the new Charlie Lake course is now open for play.

Tim Atchison, Josh Stokmans and other volunteers finished installing all 18 tonal targets at the new Chuck's Puddle Disc Golf Course at Charlie Lake Provincial Park, on October 24.

Though there is still a lot of clearing to be done, which will carry into next year, the course is open for play and welcome for Fort St. John disc golf fans to get out and try.

A map of the course, which features many tight, narrow holes, can be found on the UDisc mobile app, and is seen below.
