Fort St. John jiu jitsu fighters bring home 29 medals

Great start to the year for Red Dragon athletes in Edmonton

Red Dragon Martial Arts from Fort St. John brought a team of 25 competitors to St. Albert for a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament last weekend.

The True North Grappling Championship was held on April 16. Our athletes all fought hard and we had really great results being our first tournament in the last few years. Coach Ben is extremely proud of their hard work and we look forward to our next tournament coming up June 18, 2022.

Some of our members were able to win medals in the Gi and no Gi divisions (Gi is a uniform). In the Gi divisions, they grab the uniform; in no Gi, they don't.
