Fort St. John Lacrosse cancels 2020 season

Fort St. John Lacrosse officially cancelled the 2020 minor lacrosse season this morning. The lacrosse league held off on cancelling the season for the durating of the COVID-19 pandemic but decided it was what they had to do.

Fort St. John Lacrosse officially cancelled the 2020 minor lacrosse season this morning. 

The lacrosse league held off on cancelling the season for the durating of the COVID-19 pandemic but decided it was what they had to do. 

"Unfortunately with no available venue and the advice from BC lacrosse association which we are members of we have officially called the season," wrote Fort St. John Lacrosse in a statement on its Facebook page. 

The league will begin giving out refunds this week. It's asking for anyone who doesn't receive a refund by June 15 to send an email to fsjmltreasurer@gmail.com.
