The Fort St. John Huskies are two games up on rivals Dawson Creek in their NWJHL semi-final series against the Kodiaks.

The Huskies won 5-1 on the road Sunday afternoon, with Oscar Burgess, Chase London, Kaden Arberry, Raymond Dick, and Brandon Modde each potting a goal in the win. Jackson Powers turned away 23 or 24 shots from the Kodiaks, letting just one slip by from Tyson Buchan on a power play in the second period.

The semi-finals returns home to the North Peace Arena on Wednesday night at 8 p.m.

The Grande Prairie Wheat Kings meanwhile lead their semi-final series against the Sexsmith Vipers two games to none, with game three scheduled Monday night.
