The final stop of the season on the Canadian pro rodeo circuit begins tonight in Regina.
The Maple Leaf Circuit Finals will carry over four days, ending Saturday night.
Three Peace Country cowboys and one cowgirl are taking part.
Fort St. John’s Jacob Gardner will compete in the bull riding event.
He sits in seventh on the Maple Leaf Circuit standings, having earned $10,097.09.
Stephen Culling of Fort St. John is signed up for steer wrestling and is fourth on the circuit with $13,378.34.
Charlie Lake’s Tyrel Roberts is set to go in the saddle bronc while Lane Wills from Pouce Coupe takes part in ladies’ barrels.
Roberts is in eighth spot on the leader board with $6,481.78 earned.
Absent from the saddle bronc division is Hudson’s Hope cowboy Jake Watson.
Wills is third in ladies barrels with $13,589.97.
Results from this week’s event will count towards next season’s standings.
