Oilmen's golf tournament cancelled

The Fort St. John Petroleum Association did its best to go ahead with plans for the 58th annual Oilmen's Golf Tournament this year. However, the Association announced this morning that the tournament, scheduled for June 3 to 6 had been cancelled.

The Fort St. John Petroleum Association did its best to go ahead with plans for the 58th annual Oilmen's Golf Tournament this year. However, the Association announced this morning that the tournament, scheduled for June 3 to 6 had been cancelled. 

"We would like to thank all past sponsors, players and hope to see you all next year," said Tournament Chair Dan Bonin. 

The tournament will resume next year, June 5 to 8, 2021.

The decision to cancel comes just four days after an announcement that the tournament comittee was going to try and go ahead with things as planned for the time being.
