Hello readers! We sure did have some weird weather going on outside this week!

My name is Jessica Wiebe. I am for the the Prespatou 4-H Community Club. As spring rolled around our club has been busy. We did a 10 km garbage clean up in
our community. It felt good to see the clean ditches. It turned out to be great weather  on the day we did it!

All the beef members are busy getting their animals cleaned and clipped and leading.  We are getting our sheep ready as well. We got our lambs sheared. Now it will be easier to wash them and get them all cleaned and clipped. The market lambs are doing great . All sheep had gained 20 lbs or more.

On May 27 we had a sale selling flower baskets and some other small plants. This was a fundraiser for our club.

The District 4-H auction will be held online on July 12, 2021. There will be beef, sheep and swine sold that day. Sale starts at 2 pm. Go to vjvauction.com to bid on the animals. There will also be a sale catalogue available for viewing in the near future.

Clubs are planning their pictures/video days for the catalog in the next couple of weeks.

I would like to thank Dawson creek road maintenance for letting our club do the garbage clean up. I would also like to thank Canfor for donating some lumber to our club.
