Provincial parks will reopen just in time for the long weekend. Most Northern provincial parks will open for day-use on Thursday, May 14. Parks that will be reopening include Beatton, Bijoux Falls, Charlie Lake, Kiskatinaw River, Moberly Lake, One Island Lake, Sikanni Chief Falls, Sukunka Falls, and Swan Lake.

While the day-use areas at these parks will reopen, the availability of other services like boat launches, concessions, and visitor centres will vary from park to park. Campgrounds will reopen on June 1.

Not all provincial parks are re-opening. The Liard Hot Springs will remain closed for the time being, as will Muncho Lake, Buckinghorse River Wayside, and others. For a full of list of parks re-opening for day use on Thursday, go here.
