The Flyers beat the Regals 9-5 in a high-scoring, penalty-filled match in High Prairie last night, despite the Flyers having just 11 skaters.
With the Flyers up 4-2 after the first period, the game turned chippy in the second and the third. The Regals received 117 penalty minutes, with four players getting game misconducts. The Flyers, meanwhile, had just 25 penalty minutes, and gave the Regals only one powerplay.
Jeff Shipton had a big game with two goals and an assist, while Steven Fast added a goal and three assists as well.
