Everything is going the Fort St. John Huskies way so far this season. The Huskies won two more games last weekend — 3-2 over the North Peace Navigators, and 5-4 against the Dawson Creek Kodiaks — to stay undefeated on the season and improve to 6-0.

The Huskies have now played, and won, four one-goal games in a row. Fort St. John played a typical Huskies game against the Navigators, outshooting North Peace 36-25, with Tyler McArthur stead in net. Against the Kodiaks, Daniel Sturgeon was solid and picked up his second win on the year.

Both powerplays came out strong in Dawson Creek, with the Huskies scoring three times on the powerplay while the Kodiaks scored twice on four opportunities.

Alex Nimmo had two points in each game on the weekend, while Chase London and Kurtis Lee each had strong, three-point performances in Dawson Creek.

The Huskies will play the Vipers in Sexsmith on Friday, October 15, and will face the Flyers in Fairview Saturday, October 16. Both games start at 8 p.m. local time.
