With a forecast of heavy rain beginning this afternoon, Taylor Speedway has decided to call off its opening race weekend.
The Bomber Invitational was set to go tonight and tomorrow.
“Unfortunately, this weekend is forecasted to receive a bunch of rain, and due to this, we will be proactively be postponing this race weekend,” said the club in a Facebook post.
No indication, just yet, when it might be run.
A number of outdoor events will, likely, be postponed this weekend with forecasts of 30-80 millimetres of rain by Saturday night.
